Silent Night

Silent Night, by Viggo Johnson, 1891

Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon Virgin Mother and Child
Holy Infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace

Silent night, holy night!
Shepherds quake at the sight
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia!
Christ, the Savior is born
Christ, the Savior is born

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, love’s pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth

Such a beautiful song…*sigh*

We’re here cooking away…tell Emily, if it was she who suggested it, that the Sugar Cream Pie is cooling and it smells delicious. Russian tea is simmering, macaroni and cheese is in the process, a chocolate cake is very crooked, and beeswax candles are burning bright. Christmas music is also being played. Plus the Fiesta Ware makes it all so colorful!

With you in spirit…and love,
Margaret

Hiya,

It’s a bad habit with my downtime (websurfing), but I somehow wound up over here (it was something like facebook->Vision Forum->someone named Breezy->?->nothing better to do, so I clicked over). I have seen that you’re a female who reads Calvin (that’s John) and Color Theory whilst wielding art skillz to boot. For all of that, I felt compelled to send ‘props’ from Wisconsin; keep up the fine work. I am an artist myself (comic books, albeit), and a photographer on the side, and I usually don’t find people who dabble in both disciplines. Excellent work.

And I’m on my way. I didn’t mean to scrawl such a large comment on your blog, but if such a large block of text is found unaesthetic, I figure you know enough about aesthetics and flow to figure something out.
Ciao mein,
-Sam from WI
